Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Service Description
Inlet provides an automated regulatory compliance checking platform for cosmetics and food & beverage companies. Our services include compliance checking, ingredient database access, regulatory monitoring, AI-powered analysis, report generation, and API access.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Inlet only for legitimate regulatory compliance purposes. You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the compliance engine, or use the service to generate misleading compliance claims. API keys must be kept confidential and not shared with unauthorized parties.
3. Compliance Disclaimer
Inlet provides compliance analysis based on our regulatory database. While we strive for accuracy, compliance determinations should be verified by qualified regulatory affairs professionals before market submissions. Inlet is a tool to assist compliance decisions, not a substitute for professional regulatory advice. AI-generated analysis is labeled as such and carries confidence scores.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Overages beyond plan limits may result in temporary service restrictions until the next billing cycle. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of your current billing period.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all product formulation data, compliance results, and reports generated through Inlet. We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the platform's regulatory database and AI models.
6. Limitation of Liability
Inlet's liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for regulatory penalties, product recalls, or market entry delays arising from reliance on compliance determinations without professional verification.
